Alta’s online content is free, and you are not required to have an account with us to access this content. If you choose, you may sign up for a subscription to our magazine for exclusive additional content. We may also collect payment information, such as your credit card number and expiration date, to process payment for your subscription.

We may also automatically collect basic technical information from all visitors to our Sites.  We may automatically collect information about how visitors use the Sites, and may use cookies or other similar technologies to help use and compile statistics. Children’s Information

The Sites are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information about children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, do not provide personal information to us and do not use our Sites.

International Transfers

We are based on California in the United States. The information you submit to us and that we collect as a result of using our Sites will be transferred to the United States. California’s “Shine The Light” law permits California to annually request and obtain information free of charge about what personal information is disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
